Resumo
In the multifaceted landscape of art awakened by the artistic avant-garde in the contemporary age, where imagination and innovation converged to challenge the boundaries of the perception of reality, we find Fernando Lemos, an artist who presents himself as a beacon of originality in various languages, even having absorbed, like many artists, surrealist convictions as new parameters in part of his artistic production. The objective is to investigate and reflect, through a bibliographic review, on the contextualization of the photographic production of the artist Fernando Lemos and its relationship with surrealism, as well as to analyze the visual approaches and compositions based on his concepts. This is a theoretical, bibliographical and descriptive research of the qualitative type, in the nature of documentary analysis on surrealism and the photographic production of the Portuguese artist.
