Matriz fantasmática: vontade construtiva no registro imaginal

Abstract

Esta tese investiga a prática artística como forma de pensamento autônomo, capaz de produzir conhecimento por seus próprios meios. A partir de uma abordagem reflexiva, o trabalho propõe que a arte não apenas representa, mas pensa, constituindo uma epistemologia própria que desafia os limites da linguagem discursiva. O percurso teórico e prático parte da experiência do autor com pintura e construção, revelando uma matriz fantasmática que estrutura o fazer artístico como campo relacional de virtualidade e potência. Nesse contexto, emerge o conceito de registro imaginal, entendido como o espaço invisível, ao mesmo tempo inteiro e múltiplo, pressuposto tanto na percepção quanto pela linguagem, onde objetos emergem e onde se articulam significantes, podendo ser considerado a um só tempo a moldura dinâmica e a gramática tácita da realidade. A vontade construtiva é apresentada como uma sublimação do impulso de ver, cuja instanciação material na arte reconfigura ou rearranja o campo imaginal, sendo crucial para a alteração de modos de ver. Assim, a pesquisa propõe que a arte, ao operar sobre suas próprias molduras, pode transformar categorias cristalizadas e instaurar novas possibilidades de sentido, reafirmando sua função epistemológica e cultural no presente.

This thesis investigates artistic practice as a form of autonomous thought, capable of producing knowledge by its own means. Based on a reflective approach, the work proposes that art not only represents, but also thinks, constituting its own epistemology that challenges the limits of discursive language. The theoretical and practical journey starts from the author's experience with painting and construction, revealing a phantasmatic matrix that structures artistic practice as a relational field of virtuality and potentiality. In this context, the concept of imaginal register emerges, understood as a space that is both whole and multiple, presupposed both in perception and language, where objects emerge and signifiers are articulated, and which can be considered both the dynamic frame and the tacit grammar of reality. The constructive will is presented as a sublimation of the infinite impulse to see, whose instantiation in art reconfigures or rearranges the imaginal field, being crucial for the alteration of ways of seeing. Thus, the research proposes that art, by operating on its own frames, can transform crystallized categories and establishing new possibilities of meaning, reaffirming its epistemological and cultural function in the present.
