Currículo e práticas pedagógicas dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental a favor da diversidade étnico-racial?

Abstract

Este trabalho tem o objetivo de conhecer como a diversidade étnico-racial é tratada a partir do currículo escolar e das práticas pedagógicas de professoras de uma escola de educação básica, da rede estadual da cidade de Araras, São Paulo. Para tal, a investigação aconteceu nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental I (1º ao 5º ano), nos componentes curriculares de Língua Portuguesa, História, Geografia e Educação Artística. Faz-se necessário esclarecer que a diversidade étnico-racial aqui citada, e no decorrer de todo o trabalho, refere-se à história e cultura da África e afro-brasileira. A pesquisa que integra este trabalho é de natureza qualitativa, utilizando-se da história oral, a partir da coleta dos relatos, via entrevistas, de professoras e coordenadoras dos anos iniciais (1º ao 5º ano) de ensino fundamental da escola selecionada, bem como da aplicação de um questionário para traçar o perfil desses sujeitos. As entrevistas foram realizadas em encontros presenciais da pesquisadora com as entrevistadas no campo de investigação – a escola. Foram realizados, ainda, levantamento e leitura bibliográfica, e pesquisa documental, com a análise de documentos oficiais, como a Base Nacional Comum Curricular e o Currículo Paulista, incluindo também o Projeto Político Pedagógica da escola investigada. Portanto, com a aplicação do questionário e a realização das entrevistas com os sujeitos desta pesquisa, foi possível compreender como acontece o trabalho com a diversidade étnico-racial nas práticas pedagógicas das professoras, nos componentes curriculares pesquisados; quais dificuldades são encontradas neste trabalho; de que forma a BNCC e o Currículo Paulista tratam a diversidade étnico-racial; quais as possibilidades do trabalho com a diversidade étnico-racial durante todo o ano; qual a importância do tema no Projeto Político Pedagógica da escola; qual o apoio dado pela gestão escolar no trabalho com o tema em questão; dentre outros aspectos.

This work aims to know how ethnic-racial diversity is dealt with as from scholar curriculum and the pedagogical practices of female teachers from a state basic education school of the city of Araras, São Paulo. To do so, the investigation took place in the early years of Elementary School I (1st to 5th grade), in the curricular components of Portuguese Language, History, Geography and Artistic Education. It is necessary to clarify that ethnic-racial diversity as mentioned here, and throughout this hole work, refers to both African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture. The research that integrates this work is of a qualitative nature, using oral history, from the collection of reports, via interviews, of female teachers and coordinators of the initial years (1st to 5th grade) of elementary education at the school selected, as well as the application of a questionnaire to outline the profile of these subjects. The interviews were carried out in face-to-face meetings between the researcher and the interlocutors in the research field – the school. Bibliographical survey and reading were also carried out, as well as documental research, with the analysis of official documents, such as the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and the Paulista Curriculum, also including the Pedagogical Political Project of the investigated school. Therefore, by applying the questionnaire and carrying out interviews with the subjects of this research, it was possible to understand how the work with ethnic-racial diversity happens in the teachers' pedagogical practices, in the curricular components researched; what difficulties are encountered in this work; how the BNCC and the Paulista Curriculum deal with ethnic-racial diversity; what are the possibilities of working with ethnic-racial diversity throughout the year; what is the importance of the theme in school's Pedagogical Political Project; what is the support given by the school management in the working with the theme in question; among other aspects.
