Fonemol como fim e como meio: a língua imaginária no treinamento de atores e atrizes e na encenação de Antunes Filho

Abstract

A proposta desta pesquisa foi investigar o fonemol, língua imaginária desenvolvida no trabalho do diretor teatral Antunes Filho dentro do CPT - Centro de Pesquisa Teatral, no âmbito do treinamento de atores e atrizes e na encenação de alguns de seus espetáculos, entre eles “Nova Velha Estória” (1991) e “Blanche” (2016), que utilizaram como recurso estético o fonemol, denominação inventada por Antunes para se referir à criação de uma língua desprovida de vocabulário compreensível e cuja base provém da junção aleatória de fonemas. A partir de entrevistas com 8 atores e atrizes do CPT, o trabalho procura analisar os caminhos do exercício teatral da língua imaginária, muito utilizado por outros pesquisadores, a fim de destrinchar as particularidades do fonemol de Antunes Filho em sala de ensaio e no palco.

The purpose of this research was to investigate fonemol, an imaginary language developed in the work of theater director Antunes Filho within the CPT - Centro de Pesquisa Teatral, in the context of training actors and actresses and in the staging of some of his plays, including “Nova Velha Estória” (1991) and “Blanche” (2016), who used, as an aesthetic resource, the fonemol, a name invented by Antunes to refer to the creation of a language devoid of an understandable vocabulary and whose base comes from the random joining of phonemes. Based on interviews with 8 actors and actresses from the CPT, the work seeks to analyze the paths of the theatrical exercise of the imaginary language, widely used by other researchers, in order to unravel the particularities of Antunes Filho's fonemol in the rehearsal room and on stage.
