dc.description.abstractThe relationships between Surface Temperature (TS) and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) have been widely addressed in climate studies. Thus, the objective of this study was to analyze the TS of the Indian Stone/MT microbasin, as well as its relationship with NDVI in dry months. TS was influenced by the land use patterns and showed strong relationships with NDVI, alerting the need for mitigating measures, since the excessive increase can cause intensification of the drought in the microbasin.en
