Resumo

This paper aims to expose the results of the mapping of socioenvironmental conflicts in the countryside of the state of Minas Gerais, in the year of 2021, based on empirical evidence gathered through the survey of secondary data. Furthermore, it seeks to identify the most recurrent forms of socioenvironmental risks and conflicts, analising it's dynamic and relations with the most prominent economic sectors in the so called planning regions of the state. In 2021, the documental research in 76 local, regional and national news websites identified the existence of 80 events which, in turn, generated 88 situations of socioenvironmental risks or conflicts, of which more than 80% are connected to the industrial mining complex activities and located in the central region of the state.
