| dc.description.abstract | This research explores teaching alternatives for basic education during the coronavirus pandemic, focusing on distance learning and its applicability in more vulnerable schools. Based on the BNCC (Brazilian National Common Core), the study begins with an evaluation of a school in Sao Vicente and investigates an alternative didactic resource to develop students' scientific thinking. The research addresses science education in a cross-disciplinary manner, integrating methodologies that emphasize biodiversity conservation and the practical application of scientific knowledge using low-cost materials. This proposal aligns with the innovative use of home-based learning and WhatsApp for teaching pH, highlighting the importance of innovation and adaptability in remote education and the need for accessible and effective approaches in the context of the pandemic. | en |
