Resumo
This study investigated the tribocorrosion behavior of three alloys of the Ti-xNb-5Mo system. OCP and COF values were monitored, and the alloys' repassivation rate was calculated after sliding. The wear volume of the alloys was calculated by analyzing the profilometry results obtained by confocal microscopy. The alloy with the highest hardness (Ti-20Nb-5Mo) had the lowest wear volume (0.06 ± 0.02 mm³). Furthermore, OCP results during sliding showed that increasing Nb content increased the corrosion resistance of the alloys.
