Nesta dissertação disporei imagens para uma compreensão histórico-poética da arte dos atores trágicos da Grécia Antiga. Para tanto, recorrerei a uma linha dos estudos clássicos que busca compreender o teatro da antiguidade tardia em sua dimensão performativa e apresentarei alguns aspectos da performance trágica grega antiga, tais quais o contexto cultural em que ela se inseriu e alguns de seus elementos: seu programa, seu espaço, seus materiais e seus agentes (músicos, coreutas e atores). Por fim, com base nos estilos de atuação e nas funções no sistema de produção da teatralidade, elaborarei três paradigmas representativos dos diferentes estágios pelos quais passou a arte dos atores trágicos gregos antigos no intervalo que vai do século V a.C. ao século IV a.C., bem como uma hipótese para um quarto paradigma referente aos dois séculos que se seguem.
Abstract (english)
In this dissertation I will dispose images for a historical-poetic understanding of the art of the tragic actors of Ancient Greece. In order to do so, I will resort to a line of classical studies that seeks to understand the theater of late antiquity in its per-formative dimension and I will present some aspects of the ancient Greek tragic performance, such as the cultural context in which it was inserted and some of its elements: its program , its space, its materials and its agents (musicians, choreuts and actors). Finally, based on the acting styles and functions in the theatricality production system, I will elaborate three representative paradigms of the different stages through which the art of the ancient Greek tragic actors passed in the interval that goes from the 5th century BC to the 4th century BC, as well as a hypothesis for a fourth paradigm referring to the two centuries that follow.
