The stationary current versus applied voltage characteristics for vulcanized EPDM copolymer samples were investigated for different values of sample thickness, for several metallic electrodes and ratios of alumina filler. The results show that the bulk as well as the contact properties of the samples are both important and a model - still under testing - is proposed to explain the strong electronic field dependence (of roughly the exp(EI/2) type) observed.en
