Paradigmas da imagem: o divisor de Lygia Pape a partir da filosofia da imagem de Georges Didi-Huberman

Abstract

Through the critical theory undertaken by Georges Didi-Huberman the image opens up, allowing its times, memories and phantoms to be released. The author's thought constitutes a new knowledge and a new history of art. In this way, in dialogue with the theory proposed by the French philosopher and historian of art, an excavation is carried out in the work Divisor of Lygia Pape. Thus, the work is put under new glances, obtaining not definitive answer, but new questions, so that the territory of this knowledge of images can be further opened up.

Por meio da teoria crítica empreendida por Georges Didi-Huberman a imagem se abre, possibilitando que seus tempos, memórias e fantasmas se libertem. O pensamento do autor constitui um novo saber e uma nova história da arte. Desta maneira, em diálogo com a teoria proposta pelo filósofo e historiador da arte francês, opera-se uma escavação na obra Divisor de Lygia Pape. Assim, a obra é posta sob novos olhares, obtendo-se não respostas definitivas, mas novos questionamentos, para que se possa abrir ainda mais o território deste saber das imagens.
