A presente dissertação de mestrado tem por objetivo principal, o desenvolvimento de uma instalação interativa, utilizando um sensor de ondas cerebrais. Para o mesmo, o primeiro capítulo se propõe a refletir sobre a dificuldade em utilizar tecnologias em uma obra de arte, a fim de atingir experiências estéticas. O segundo capítulo, traz um breve histórico da selfie e reflexões sobre o excesso desses autorretratos, presentes nas redes sociais, como forma de interação virtual entre as pessoas e afirmação de suas identidades, cujo resultado culminou na proposição poética da obra interativa com sensor de ondas cerebrais, intitulada TECHNOSELF. Por fim, no terceiro capítulo, são apresentadas obras de arte realizadas durante o mestrado, que corroboraram de alguma forma para o objetivo central da pesquisa.
Abstract (english)
This master's thesis has as its main objective, the development of an interactive installation, using a brain wave sensor. The first chapter presents a discussion regarding the difficulty of using technologies in a art work in order to achieve aesthetic experiences. The second chapter brings a brief history of the selfie and reflections on the excess of these self-portraits, present on social media, as a form of virtual interaction between people and affirmation of their identities, the result of this consideration culminated in the poetic proposition of the interactive art work with a brain wave sensor, entitled TECHNOSELF. Finally, in the third chapter, art works developed during the period of post-graduation are presented, which in some way corroborate the research’s central objective.
