Estado do conhecimento de pesquisas que relacionam educação matemática, dimensão cognitiva e formação de professores que ensinam matemática na Amazônia legal

Abstract

Este relatório apresenta uma síntese das atividades desenvolvidas no período de estágio pós-doutoral, ocorrido entre 17/07/2024 a 16/07/2025. Foi realizado no âmbito do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação para a Ciência (PPGEdc), na Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” – UNESP, campus de Bauru/SP. Vinculado ao Programa Nacional de Cooperação Acadêmica PROCAD Amazônia – Capes. As ações foram conduzidas sob a supervisão do Prof. Dr. Nelson Antônio Pirola e compreenderam tanto atividades acadêmicas quanto de campo, com ênfase nas interações com discentes e docentes dos níveis de graduação e pós-graduação da instituição. No escopo da pesquisa, realizou-se um levantamento sistemático do tipo Estado do Conhecimento, com o objetivo geral de investigar e apresentar o estado do conhecimento de pesquisas que relacionam teorias da Educação Matemática, à cognição e formação de professores. Ancorada nos dados de produções disponíveis na Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), os objetivos específicos da pesquisa foi mapear tendências, recorrências temáticas e lacunas investigativas e epistemológicas sobre o tema, a fim de subsidiar futuras contribuições teóricas e empíricas no campo da formação docente, dos processos de aprendizagem matemática e orientação de novas pesquisas. Os resultados indicam que há pesquisas que vai da história da matemática à etnomatemática, inclusão, formação inicial e processos cognitivos associados à linguagem e a psicologia da educação matemática. Observou-se a escassez de produções, na BDTD, que articulem concepções teóricas e metodológicas entre educação matemática, cognição e formação docente em contextos socioculturais diversos. Apesar da predominância de dissertações. Anotou-se uma sub-representação de Teses que investiguem avanços significativos na compreensão do ensino/aprendizagem em contextos educacionais da Amazônia Legal na relação entre cognição e formação.

This report presents a summary of the activities carried out during the postdoctoral internship period, which took place from 07/17/2024 to 07/16/2025. It was conducted within the scope of the Graduate Program in Science Education (PPGEdc) at the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" – UNESP, Bauru/SP campus. It is linked to the National Academic Cooperation Program PROCAD Amazônia – Capes. The activities were conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nelson Antônio Pirola and encompassed both academic and field activities, with an emphasis on interactions with undergraduate and graduate students and faculty of the institution. Within the research scope, a systematic review of the Knowledge Status type was carried out, with the general objective of investigating and presenting the state of knowledge on research that relates theories of Mathematics Education to cognition and teacher training. Anchored in the data of productions available in the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), the specific objectives of the research were to map trends, thematic recurrences, and investigative and epistemological gaps on the topic, in order to support future theoretical and empirical contributions in the field of teacher education, mathematical learning processes, and the guidance of new research. The results indicate that research ranges from the history of mathematics to ethnomathematics, inclusion, initial teacher training, and cognitive processes associated with language and the psychology of mathematics education. A scarcity of works was observed in the BDTD that connect theoretical and methodological concepts between mathematics education, cognition, and teacher training in diverse sociocultural contexts. Despite the predominance of dissertations, there is an underrepresentation of theses investigating significant advances in the understanding of teaching/learning in educational contexts of the Legal Amazon concerning the relationship between cognition and teacher training.
