A tecnologia social PAIS (produção agroecológica integrada e sustentável), em assentamentos do território rural prof. Cory/Andradina (SP): Um instrumento para a promoção da transição agroecológica?

Abstract

We analyze the possible contributions of PAIS Social Technology in relation to the stimulation and consolidation of agroecological transition processes, based on the experiences of families settled in the Rural Territory Prof. Cory / Andradina (SP). It is a qualitative research, developed with the use, mainly, of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Although PAIS is able to promote the adoption of more sustainable practices, PAIS is limited in promoting the agroecological transition, since, among other aspects, it is neither a product nor a promoter of the participatory construction of solutions based on local potentialities, considering the knowledge, The experiences and the wishes of the families involved in this process.
