EFEITO DA VACINA POLIVALENTE SOBRE O LEUCOGRAMA E O METABOLISMO OXIDATIVO DOS NEUTRÓFILOS EM CÃES

Abstract

In order to evaluate the effect of the octuple vaccine (Duramune DA2PP+ CvK/LCI - Fort Dodge) on the leukogram and neutrophil oxidative metabolism, analyses were made of blood of 20 adult healthy dogs at 4 different moments: M0 (before the vaccination), M1 (2 days after), M2 (15 days after) andM 3 (30 days after). The neutrophil oxidative metabolism estimated by nitroblue tetrazolium (NBT) reduction test didn’t show any significative differences among the moments studied, on neither the stimulated test nor on the non-stimulated one. The results show that the polyvalent vaccine does not interfere on the neutrophil oxidative metabolism, nor on the leukogram.

A fim de avaliar-se o efeito da vacina óctupla (Duramune DA2PP + CvK/ LCI - Fort Dodge) sobre o leucograma e o metabolismo oxidativo dos neutrófilos, analisou-se o sangue de 20 cães adultos clinicamente sadios em 4 diferentes momentos: M0 (antes da vacinação), M1 (2 dias após), M2 (15 dias após) e M3 (30 dias após). O metabolismo oxidativo dos neutrófilos estimado pelo teste de redução do tetrazólio nitroazul (NBT) não diferiu significativamente nos diferentes momentos estudados, tanto na prova estimulada como na prova não estimulada. Os resultados mostram que a vacina polivalente não interfere no metabolismo oxidativo dos neutrófilos, bem como no leucograma.
