O presente trabalho tem como objetivo propor reflexões acerca de vivências artístico-musicais, entendendo como e por que os caminhos ora se assemelham, ora se distinguem, sempre em direção às possíveis respostas para a pergunta: em que consiste a suposta "independência" dos chamados artistas independentes? A ideia surgiu a partir da minha vivência como artista, sendo uma mulher cis, negra e LGBTQIA+, portanto percorrerei tanto meu próprio trajeto musical quanto de outros artistas, e sempre criticando o sistema em que estamos inseridos, pois é impossível analisar quaisquer situações sem reconhecer os impactos sociais e culturais que vivemos. A arte está sempre entrelaçada com a realidade de artistas.
Abstract (english)
The present work aims to propose reflections about artistic-musical experiences,
understanding how and why the paths are sometimes similar, sometimes different,
always towards the possible answers to the question: what does the supposed
"independence" of the so-called independent artists consist of? The idea came from
my experience as an artist, being a cis, black and LGBTQIA+ woman, so I will go
through both my own musical path, as well as that of other artists, always criticizing
the system, in which we are inserted, because it is impossible to analyze any
situation without recognizing the social and cultural impacts we experience. Art is
always intertwined with the reality of artists.
