Resumo
This article presents some reflections on the distances between theatre practice and the urban routine where this practice takes place. Thoughts about the materiality of everyday urban life and its use in the construction of the theatrical creation are shared through an analysis of the work of the collective USO-Urban Theatre, based in the city of São Paulo since 2004. The investigation led by the collective is analyzed in the light of Agnes Heller’s theory of everyday life.
