A pandemia da COVID-19 e a conflitos armamentista trouxeram desafios significativos para a construção civil. Restrições, atrasos e incertezas afetaram a indústria globalmente. A construção civil busca se fortalecer e se adaptar para enfrentar esses desafios e promover um futuro econômica e ambientalmente sustentável. Nesse contexto, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo geral realizar uma análise abrangente dos efeitos pós-pandemia do COVID-19 no segmento da Construção Civil no Brasil. Dito isso, a presente pesquisa possibilitou trazer à tona os desafios intrínsecos e as oportunidades emergentes que se apresentam diante da construção civil em face da pandemia global e do conflito russo-ucraniano. A despeito das limitações, a presente pesquisa focou principalmente nos efeitos imediatos da pandemia e do conflito geopolítico, deixando de explorar os impactos de longo prazo e as possíveis transformações estruturais no setor da construção civil. Porém foi dada premente importância urge que pesquisas futuras se dediquem à exploração das estratégias empresariais, aos impactos de longo prazo e às políticas públicas que envolvem esse âmbito de atuação. Além disso, é imperativo reconhecer a relevância da interdisciplinaridade, da sinergia entre diversos campos do conhecimento, para a obtenção de resultados mais abrangentes e profícuos. É nesse contexto que a construção civil empreende esforços para fortalecer-se, adaptar-se e promover um futuro sustentável, em harmonia com as necessidades presentes e vindouras da sociedade. A partir da pesquisa foi possível verificar o impacto significativo da pandemia na COVID-19 na construção civil, principalmente no que tange às restrições operacionais, atrasos nas obras e a redução na demanda dos projetos. A guerra russo-ucrania também tem impactado na construção civil, o que ocorre principalmente devido ao aumento no pr;co das matérias-primas e à escassez de recursos essenciais.
Abstract (english)
The COVID-19 pandemic and the Russo-Ukrainian war have brought significant challenges to the construction industry. Restrictions, delays, and uncertainties have affected the industry globally. The construction sector is striving to strengthen and adapt to face these challenges and promote an economically and environmentally sustainable future. In this context, the main objective of this research was to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the post-pandemic effects of COVID-19 on the Construction industry in Brazil. That being said, this research has shed light on the intrinsic challenges and emerging opportunities presented to the construction industry in the face of the global pandemic and the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. Despite the limitations, this research focused mainly on the immediate effects of the pandemic and the geopolitical conflict, failing to explore the long-term impacts and possible structural transformations in the civil construction sector. However, it was given urgent importance that future research be dedicated to the exploration of business strategies, the long-term impacts and the public policies that involve this scope of action. In addition, it is imperative to recognize the relevance of interdisciplinarity, of synergy between different fields of knowledge, in order to obtain more comprehensive and fruitful results.It is in this context that the construction industry strives to strengthen, adapt, and promote a sustainable. From the research, it was possible to verify the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the construction industry, mainly in relation to operational restrictions, delays in works, and a reduction in the demand for projects. The Russo-Ukrainian war has also impacted the construction industry, mainly due to the increase in the price of raw materials and the scarcity of essential resources.
