Este trabalho investiga a música na luta de classes A trajetória parte da confusão atual entre a música popular e a erudita, afirmando a infertilidade desta abordagem; em seguida, investiga a autonomia da arte em relação às forças materiais, negando interpretações reducionistas; com essa ótica, apresenta a concepção de Hanns Eisler da chamada música revolucionária; por fim, revisa algumas das principais premissas estéticas que estão em jogo nessas proposições. O objetivo é que este percurso possa contribuir com a práxis da produção artística, que se coloque a favor da emancipação da classe trabalhadora.
Abstract (english)
This work investigates music in the class struggle. The trajectory starts from the current confusion between popular and classical music, affirming the infertility of this approach; then, it investigates the autonomy of art in relation to material forces, denying reductionist interpretations; from this perspective, it presents Hanns Eisler's conception of the so-called revolutionary music; finally, it reviews some of the main aesthetic premises that are at stake in these propositions. The objective is that this path can contribute to the praxis of artistic production, which is in favor of the emancipation of the working class.
