O produto Mulheres e espelhos: ensaio sobre padrões midiáticos e autoestima feminina é um livro de perfis, construídos a partir de entrevistas, de mulheres de diferentes idades, formação, profissão e personalidade, ilustrados com imagens fotográficas em preto e branco. Ele tem como objetivo contribuir com o debate sobre padronização estética e comportamental feminina, buscando exaltar mulheres que fogem à imagem constantemente reproduzida pelos grandes veículos de comunicação voltados para o público feminino. O trabalho encontra sua justificativa em meio à relevância do tema, no contexto atual, sobre diversidade, identidade e respeito às diferenças, discutindo inclusão social e buscando uma abordagem jornalística menos tendenciosa em relação à imagem da mulher comumente construída e reproduzida na mídia em geral
Abstract (english)
The product Mulheres e espelhos: ensaio sobre padrões midiáticos e autoestima feminine, is a book of profiles, constructed from interviews, of women of different ages, backgrounds, profession and persononality, illustrated with black-and-white photographic images. It aims to contribute to the debate on aesthetic and behavioral feminine standardization, seeking to exalt women who flee from the image constantly reproduced by the great communication vehicles aimed at the female audience. The paper finds its justification amid the relevance of the theme, in the current context, about diversity, identity and respect for differences, discussing social inclusion and seeking a journalistic approach less biased towards the image of women commonly constructed and reproduced in the media in general
