Abstract

This paper presents a data set regarding Minha Casa Minha Vida Program (PMCMV) in the State of Rio Grande do Norte and analyses it in the context of its distribution in the state's municipalities. The data set referenced in December 2012 presents the numbers of the housing construction, the number of ordered units (if already constructed and/or under construction) and the agents responsible for them, especially those called Faixa 1 of the Program. The analysis focuses on the aggregate data from the Northeast Region of Brazil, the State of Rio Grande do Norte and in particulary, with special attention to their municipalities. Thus, the territorial dimension emphasizes the relation between the spatial distribution of the projects and the number of units in each municipality and indicators related to their respective positions in the hierarchy of the urban network. At the end of the article are presented five possible conclusions from the data set discussed, presenting elements to expand and continue the research.
