Resumo

This paper presents the design and implementation of a decision support management information system applied to the operational planning of a Cooperative of Recyclable and Reusable Products (COOPERLIX), whose main purpose is to generate information as alternatives to the decision-making process related to: a) allocation of vehicles for the selective collection considering potential of each route to be covered; B) determination of the daily quantities of waste collected; C) control of stocks of recyclable waste by group; E) control of production and waste discarded and sent to the landfill; F) sales control, accounts payable, accounts receivable; G) management of the processes related to the cooperated, customers, suppliers and invoice issuance. For its development, a partnership was established with - FIPP, Faculty of Informatics of Presidente Prudente - UNOESTE. In Internship course, the students developed a software under the advisory of this researcher. For the SGCOP validation, data from the selective collection have been carried out by COOPERLIX in Presidente Prudente city, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. The system was not fully implemented due to management problems in the cooperative.
