Assunto de interesse: Ovariectomia unilateral secundária a hidrossalpinge em vaca Jersolanda.

Abstract

O presente Relatório Final de Estágio Curricular Obrigatório em Prática Veterinária descreve as atividades realizadas junto ao Departamento de Cirurgia Veterinária e Reprodução Animal da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da UNESP - Campus de Botucatu/SP, bem como na Agropecuária Recreio, localizada em São Carlos/SP. O estágio teve carga horária total de 600 horas, sendo parte do 10º semestre do curso de Medicina Veterinária da UNESP - Jaboticabal, com o objetivo de permitir a aplicação e o aprimoramento das habilidades práticas adquiridas ao longo da graduação. Durante o período de estágio, foram acompanhados manejos reprodutivos e produtivos em bovinos, equinos, suínos, pequenos ruminantes, cães e gatos. O assunto de maior interesse e aprofundamento foi a ovariectomia unilateral secundária a hidrossalpinge em uma vaca da raça Jersolanda. O caso abordou a importância do diagnóstico precoce e das técnicas cirúrgicas aplicadas no tratamento de alterações reprodutivas que impactam diretamente a eficiência produtiva do rebanho. O estágio permitiu a ampliação dos conhecimentos teóricos e práticos sobre a reprodução bovina, contribuindo significativamente para a formação profissional, especialmente no que se refere ao manejo de enfermidades reprodutivas.

This Final Report of the Mandatory Curricular Internship in Veterinary Practice describes the activities carried out at the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Animal Reproduction of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of UNESP - Botucatu Campus/SP, as well as at Agropecuária Recreio, located in São Carlos/SP. The internship had a total workload of 600 hours, being part of the 10th semester of the Veterinary Medicine course at UNESP - Jaboticabal, with the objective of allowing the application and improvement of the practical skills acquired throughout the undergraduate course. During the internship period, reproductive and productive management of cattle, horses, pigs, small ruminants, dogs and cats was monitored. The subject of greatest interest and in-depth study was unilateral ovariectomy secondary to hydrosalpinx in a Jersolanda cow. The case addressed the importance of early diagnosis and surgical techniques applied in the treatment of reproductive alterations that directly impact the productive efficiency of the herd. The internship allowed the expansion of theoretical and practical knowledge about bovine reproduction, contributing significantly to professional training, especially with regard to the management of reproductive diseases.
