Brincando no curumim do SESC Bauru: as perspectivas das crianças sobre os processos educativos

Abstract

O Programa Curumim é uma iniciativa do Serviço Social do Comércio (SESC) de São Paulo, que atende crianças de 7 a 12 anos em 32 unidades e tem como objetivo garantir espaços e tempos de brincar a partir da convivência, respeito e coletividade. As práticas do programa são orientadas pelo elemento lúdico e pela necessidade imbuída nas crianças de interagir com o mundo através do brincar, e assim, aprender. É nesse contexto que nos indagamos de quais formas o brincar se manifesta no Programa Curumim e quais são os processos educativos decorrentes dessas interações. Nesse sentido o objetivo desse estudo foi analisar os processos educativos decorrentes do brincar no Programa Curumim do SESC Bauru a partir das perspectivas das crianças. Nos embasamos na abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa, acompanhando dez encontros registrados em diários de campo e entrevistas semiestruturadas com vinte crianças, que foram transcritas e analisadas a partir da análise de conteúdo temática. Os resultados evidenciaram que as crianças trouxeram processos educativos relacionados ao brincar, tais como conhecer brincadeiras novas e diferentes linguagens como jogos, esportes, atividades artísticas, manuais e de educação para a saúde e processos educativos relacionados aos aspectos sociais, como o autoconhecimento, formação de novas amizades e princípios como autonomia e responsabilidade. A partir desses resultados apontamos como os processos educativos decorrentes das vivências promovidas são mediadas pelo lúdico e pelo brincar, intrínsecos do Programa Curumim. Nesse sentido destacamos a importância de garantir tempos e espaços de brincar variados, bem como promover a ampliação do repertório sociocultural, a fim de criar um ambiente propício para que as práticas educativas possam se manifestar.

The Curumin Program is an initiative of the Social Service of Commerce (Sesc) of São Paulo, that attends children of 7 to 12 years old in 32 units and has as its goal to garantee spaces and moments of play based on (the principles of) coexistence, respect and colectivity. The practices of the program are oriented by the ludic element and the inherent need of children to interact with the world through play, and in this way, to learn. It is in this context that we ask ourselves which ways play manifests in the Curumin Program and which are the educational processes that arises from this interactions. In this sense the goal of this study is to analyse the educational processes that arises from play in the Curumin Program of the Bauru SESC from the perspective of the children involved. We based this study in the qualitative approach to research, following ten dates registered in field's diaries and semi-structured interviews with 20 children, that were transcripted and analysed based on the thematic content analysis. The results showed that the children brought educational processes related to play, such as knowing new plays and different languages as games, sports, artistic activites, manuals and of education for health and educational processes related to social aspects, such as self-knowledge, formation of new friendships e acquisition of values like autonomy and responsibility. From these results we pointed to how the educational processes that arises from the experiences promoted are mediated by the ludic e by play, intrinsic values of the Curumin Program. In this sense we emphasize the importance of the maintenance of varied moments and spaces of play, and also the promotion of and enlargement of sociocultural repertoire, with the goal of creating an adequate environment for the manifestation of educational practices.
