Resumo
The industrial revolution, the rapid development of industries, the increase in urbanization, the increase in the world population, and the deterioration in climate and ecological balance, as a result, pose a great threat to both the environment and human health. Today, unfortunately, water resources contain organic pollutants such as dyes, pesticides, antibiotics, and phenol, and it is getting harder and harder to reach clean water. In this chapter, the organic pollutants are eliminated by green synthesis of nanoparticles (NPs). Any of the following substances, including bacteria, fungi, yeast, virus and plant extracts, can be used in the green synthesis of NPs. The physicochemical properties of NPs were examined using different characterization techniques. According to this review, the NPs synthesized by green method are efficient nanoadsorbents to remove organic pollutants from wastewater.
