A valorização profissional docente no município de Ribeirão Preto: um estudo sobre creches

Abstract

A pesquisa em questão analisa as consequências da implementação do novo Estatuto Público Municipal de Ribeirão Preto, a Lei Complementar nº 2.524 de 05 de abril de 2012 e as mudanças nas condições de trabalho das professoras que atuam na Educação Infantil (0-3 anos). A nova lei foi aprovada após muitas lutas e discussões da classe, luta esta pelo reconhecimento público deste profissional enquanto professor e pela garantia de seus direitos. Buscamos analisar se após a implementação do novo estatuto as professoras deste segmento puderam sentir mudanças em suas condições de trabalho e se as tais refletiram de alguma maneira em seu trabalho docente e valorização profissional. Diante de tais objetivos, entendemos a necessidade de utilizar para este estudo os fundamentos da pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa. Realizamos uma análise comparativa documental dos estatutos da rede municipal na busca das mudanças na carreira destas professoras e coleta de dados empíricos por meio de aplicação de questionários buscando compreender a significação destas mudanças para o grupo pesquisado, relacionando a melhoria de suas condições de trabalho e seus desdobramentos no desenvolvimento de seu trabalho docente. Concluímos que a mudança legislativa municipal trouxe benefícios às condições objetivas de trabalho das professoras de creches e que a partir destas mudanças as referidas professoras se sentem mais valorizadas e satisfeitas com a profissão, demonstrando assim ter se apropriado de melhores condições de realizar seu trabalho docente.

The survey under question analyses the consequences of implementation of a new Municipal Public Statute of Ribeirão Preto, Complementary Rule no. 2,524 of 5th April 2012 and the changes in the teachers’ working conditions who teach in the Infantile Education (0-3 years old). The new rule was approved after many battles and class discussions, a battle for the public recognition of this professional as a teacher and by the guarantee of his or her rights. We tried to analyze if after a implementation of new statute the teachers in the segment could feel the changes in their working conditions and if such changes reflected in some way on their teaching work and profession valorization. In the face of these objectives, we understand the necessity of using this study the fundaments of the survey in a qualitative approach. We have made a documental comparative analysis of statutes in the municipal network in the search of changes in the career of these teachers and empiric data collection by questions sheet application trying to understand the meaning of these changes to the surveyed group, in a relation to the improvement of their working conditions and its influences in the development of the teaching work. We have concluded that the municipal rule changes have brought benefits to the objective working condition of teachers in kindergarten and from those changes the teachers under references feel more valuable and satisfied with the profession, by showing in this way to have taken better conditions to perform their teaching work.
