Abstract

Throughout our history, mankind has created and developed several memory-enhancing technologies, ranging from cave paintings, the development of writing and, to this day, when memories are stored in chains of 0 and 1. A context that directly affects information professionals, who, in their activities of organization and dis-semination, must seek to balance the maintenance of information necessary for the development of activities and compliance with legal duties and the protection of the right to be forgotten, thus promoting the development of activities, services and products that contemplate both.
