dc.description.abstractItapeti granitic body is located near the cities of Mogi d as Cruzes, Guararema and Santa Branca-SP. It is inserted in Precambrian metamorphic rocks with a large extent inlaid in the Taxaquara Shear Zone. Foliations, lineations and kinematic indicators were studied looking for recognizing pre-full crystallization and solid state crystal deformations of the granitic rocks. Less deformed portion show light foliation oriented N65E/subvertical and mineral lineation N68E/12SW. More elongated shape of the granitic massif coincides to more deformed rocks, with a tendency of the major foliation to become parallel to the shear zone. Milonitic features are progressively more important with C-foliation oriented preferentially EW/subvertical with strong linear framework. Several kinds of kinematic indicators was recognized showing strong asymmetry and pointing to deformation associated to lateral dextral movement shear zones. Deformation continued after the emplacement and full crystallization of the magma, forming late deformation of rocks and late shear zones.en
