Resumo
This article, of a theoretical and conceptual nature, sustains the hypothesis that both Heidegger’s and Freud’s works state an anguish conception based on a founding place of human existence, which could be understood as a common condition of homelessness. By proposing this common ground, we do not advocate that there is a common epistemological place between them, but we seek to conduct a dialogue in order to highlight the points of convergence and divergence between their conceptions of anguish, as well as the ethical and social implications of this paradigmatic class of affections for understanding the foundations of human condition.
