Sexualidade e gênero na formação de professores no interior paulista: raízes, problemas e possibilidades

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo investigar a temática sexualidade e gênero nos processos de formação de professores em Ribeirão Preto-SP e Jaboticabal-SP, buscando-se analisar como foram esses processos, o alinhamento com propostas educativas oficiais, e associações da formação escolar e docente com o desenvolvimento sociocultural e histórico do interior paulista. Com abordagem qualitativa e adotando-se por fundamentação teórica, principalmente, autores de perspectivas analíticas históricas, culturais e queer, utiliza-se como instrumento de coleta de dados entrevistas semiestruturadas com professores da rede estadual vinculados às diretorias de ensino de Ribeirão Preto e de Jaboticabal, informações trabalhadas por meio de análise textual discursiva, além de análise documental sobre as primeiras leis municipais dessas localidades e pesquisa bibliográfica. Os professores relataram problemas e dificuldades formativas, sociais, culturais, políticas, institucionais e sistêmicas sobre a temática, como a sua ausência na formação docente e os problemas gerados ao tentarem desenvolvê-la em sala de aula, evidenciando a existência de relações das tensões atuais à permanência histórica do desenvolvimento sociocultural da região, mas também apresentando aberturas e possibilidades de mudanças e transformações sobre a temática sexualidade e gênero neste cenário educacional.

This work has with objective investigate sexuality and gender in teacher education processes in Ribeirão Preto-SP and Jaboticabal-SP, seeking to analyze how these processes were, the alignment with official educational proposals, and associations of school and teacher education with the socio-cultural and historical development of the interior of São Paulo. With a qualitative approach and adopting the theoretical basis authors of historical, political, cultural and queer perspectives, are used as data collection tools semi-structured interviews with teachers of the state network linked to the teaching boards of Ribeirão Preto and Jaboticabal, information worked through textual discursive analysis, besides document analysis on the first municipal laws of these localities and bibliographic research. The teachers reported formative, social, cultural, political, institutional and systemic problems and difficulties on the theme, problems such as its absence in teacher formation and problems generated when trying to develop it in the classroom, showing the existence of relationships of current tensions to the historical permanence of the sociocultural development of the region, but also presenting openings and possibilities of changes and transformations on the theme sexuality and gender in this educational setting.
