Space and Place in the Debate about Territory

Abstract

Similar to the results of an insight as the rest of an invitation to attend the Round Table Territory and Phenomenology, we try to present our concerns about certain abuses in regards to the concept of territory, specifically the relationship between the concepts of space and place. We argue that the focus on social actors, their actions and spatial practices, as well as the centrality care not distinctive aspects of the territory, as it also has prerogatives of space and place. So, we hope to bring the concept of territory to their proper perspective, because we understand that If all things turn out to be considered territory, we can blow up the entire concept.
