Abstract

The control of pests in Eucalyptus is complex. Due to this complexity, alternative control methods have been proposed, namely biological control through use of parasitoids. Trichospilus diatraeae is a pupal parasitoid that preferentially attacks species of the order Lepidoptera. This is the first report of T. diatraeae parasitising Eupseudosoma aberrans under lab conditions in Brazil.
