É tudo invenção: pintura e fábula a partir de retalhos de imagens

Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta uma reflexão sobre meu processo artístico, com foco na pintura, articulando invenção, ficção e fábula. Parto de imagens encontradas, frequentemente de animais em situações específicas, para criar composições que exploram tensão entre estranheza e proximidade, atração e repulsa, humor e ironia. A escrita surge como extensão do processo criativo, completando a obra e orientando o olhar do observador, sem reduzir a liberdade interpretativa. As pinturas propõem mundos paralelos, em que elementos cotidianos são recombinados, abrindo espaço para questionar noções de civilização, evolução e relações humanas. O trabalho dialoga com a literatura, o teatro e a fábula, e com o papel da invenção na criação artística.

This work presents a reflection on my artistic process, focusing on painting and articulating invention, fiction, and fable. I begin with found images—often of animals in specific situations—to create compositions that explore the tension between strangeness and proximity, attraction and repulsion, humor and irony. Writing emerges as an extension of the creative process, completing the work and guiding the viewer’s gaze without restricting interpretive freedom. The paintings propose parallel worlds in which everyday elements are recombined, opening a space to question notions of civilization, evolution, and human relations. The work dialogues with literature, theater, and the fable, as well as the role of invention in artistic creation.
