Desenvolvimento da imaginação: contribuições da literatura infantil à educação escolar na perspectiva da teoria histórico-cultural

Abstract

A dissertação de mestrado que ora se apresenta busca entender o papel da literatura na formação da imaginação infantil e de que forma a referida literatura se caracteriza para contribuir nesse desenvolvimento. Buscamos fazer essa reflexão com base nos textos de autores da Psicologia histórico-cultural e da Pedagogia histórico-crítica, uma vez que ambas compartilham os mesmos pressupostos teóricos. Essa pesquisa tem caráter teórico e foi realizada a partir da busca e apropriação de artigos, dissertações e teses que compartilhassem das visões teóricas acima mencionadas. E que também tratassem da temática da Literatura, Literatura infantil, Desenvolvimento humano e Imaginação e apresenta como objeto de estudo o desenvolvimento da imaginação infantil e sua relação com a literatura infantil a partir da educação escolar. Ao tomar como base os estudos realizados, consideramos que a Literatura é uma objetivação do gênero humano que permite apresentar a realidade histórica para as crianças a partir de uma construção singular e por meio de múltiplos temas. Dessa maneira, a Literatura infantil pode contribuir para o desenvolvimento da Imaginação e do sistema interfuncional psíquico como um todo a partir da construção de novas imagens mentais da realidade. A Literatura, enquanto parte da cultura humana, é direito de todos e deve ser socializada pela escola, meio pelo qual todas as camadas da sociedade poderão ter seu acesso garantido.

The master's thesis presented here seeks to understand the role of literature in the formation of children's imagination and how this literature is characterized to contribute to this development. We seek to carry out this reflection based on texts by authors from Historical-Cultural Psychology and Historical-Critical Pedagogy, since both share the same theoretical assumptions. This research has a theoretical character and was carried out by searching and appropriating articles, dissertations and theses that shared the theoretical views mentioned above. And that also dealt with the themes of Literature, Children's Literature, Human Development and Imagination and presents as an object of study the development of children's imagination and its relationship with children's literature from school education. When taking the studies carried out as a basis, we consider that Literature is an objectification of the human race that allows us to present historical reality to children based on a singular construction and through multiple themes. In this way, Children's Literature can contribute to the development of Imagination and the psychic interfunctional system as a whole through the construction of new mental images of reality. Literature, as part of human culture, is everyone's right and must be socialized through school, a means by which all layers of society can have guaranteed access.
