Resumo
Based on a theoretical discussion, we intend to identify dilemmas , contradictions in political practice and the impacts on democracy in contemporary society, with an approach related to Mediatization. We debate the mediatization of politics, from a conception of the mass to the current contours of political making in face of the logics that have been adopted based on digital technologies. This paper aims to contribute to the understanding of phenomena that impacted social and political interaction processes since Donald Trump's elections in 2016 and to outline possible impacts that it generated for democracy.
