Abstract
Surface potential measurements are presented for corona charged P(VDF-TrFE) samples in a constant current corona triode. The surface potential curves display three distinct regions, characteristic of ferroelectric polymers. The results are interpreted by neglecting the intrinsic conductivity and assuming a dynamics for the electrical polarization which is usually employed in switching measurements of ferroelectric materials, but that was adapted for the constant corona charging condition.
