A pintura, desde o início do século XX, se distancia da metáfora de uma janela, através da qual se vislumbra o mundo, como se concebia desde a Renascença, e passa a se apresentar como um objeto na parede, assemelhando-se, em alguns aspectos, à escultura. A tese propõe uma reflexão sobre o que persiste de metafórico no espaço da pintura, e em seus entrecruzamentos com a escultura, desenho e instalação, levando em conta e apresentando a produção artística de seu autor, de 2015 a 2020.
Abstract (english)
Painting, since the begining of the twentieth century, has distanced itself from the metaphor of a window through which one glimpses the world, as it was conceived since the Renaissance, and now presents itself as an object on the wall, resembling sculpture. The thesis proposes a reflection on what remains metaphorical in the space of painting, and its intersections with sculpture, drawing and installation art, taking into account and presenting the artistic production of its author, from 2015 to 2020.
