This article intends to analyze the influence of the look arts on Sergio Sant'anna's multifaceted work - specifically arts of painting and photography. Because his work is extensive and various, three short stories, wich core is the literary composition from the contemplation of the look, will be analyzed - the series Three texts of the eye, composed by The naked woman, The extra and Contemplating the Balthus Girls, from the book The flight of the Dawn. The methodology is restricted to the literary analysis and the composition of literary signs delineated from the semiotic intercourse between the considered fine arts and the literary form of the tale.en
