Resumo
A toucan arrived at the Wildlife Conservation Center Silvester of Ilha Solteira led by the police in July 2014. After the physical examination was seen this changes in left member: atrophy in the tarsal-metatarsal muscles, all fingers crossed cranial position, absence of superficial and deep sensitivity in the fingers and difficulty in movement. First, there was treatment with anti-inflammatory and antibiotic, a week after were been opted for the realization of acupuncture, which began in August 2014. Sessions are doing weekly and there was a great improvement in positioning and sensitivity of fingers. The sessions are still being made ( August 2015) to see if more improvements can be achieved.
