Resumo
A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo contribuir com o debate acerca da formação docente, ao buscar compreender as políticas de atendimento da educação a distância no Brasil. Esta proposta está assentada na captação de tendências que fazem a leitura crítica e sistemática da questão. Para este estudo escolheu-se, como caso emblemático, o Centro Universitário Claretiano, situado na cidade de Batatais, interior de São Paulo. O interesse da investigação justifica-se em razão da significativa relevância que as instituições de ensino vêm demonstrando em relação à modalidade de ensino a distância na educação brasileira e no esclarecimento às divergências existentes na relação com a ação social, inerente ao trabalho do Centro Universitário Claretiano. Da constatação inicial de que é bastante complexa a visão do ensino mediado por tecnologias e da importância desta na visão do homem como ser histórico, nasceu o tema desta pesquisa: refletir sobre a política de atendimento como ação social e elaborar esclarecimentos com maior nitidez e discernimento para os interessados no assunto acerca de Educação a Distância. Assim, a escolha do tema e a opção pelo Programa de Pós Graduação em Serviço Social, está centrada nos pilares da transformação social na área da Educação. Diante deste contexto, foi elaborado o problema norteador da pesquisa: a proposta da Educação a Distância no Brasil e a aplicação prática atende o profissional, no que diz respeito à emancipação social? Para responder ao questionamento, o trabalho foi estruturado numa perspectiva de explicitação e caracterização da metodologia da pesquisa embasada em Minayo (1999), Martinelli (1999) e Bardin (1997), com levantamento, análise e interpretação dos dados. Dos resultados obtidos, o que se pode perceber é que a expansão do mercado educacional, seja público ou privado, vai aos poucos
The aim of this research is to contribute to the debate concerning the teacher training, as it tries to comprehend the politics on distance learning education in Brazil. This proposal is based on capturing trends that make a systematic and critical reading of the matter. For this study, we chose, as an emblematic case, the Claretian University Center (Centro Universitário Claretiano), located in the city of Batatais, São Paulo. The interest on the investigation is justified by the importance that the educational institutions have demonstrated in relation to the distance learning education in Brazil and in clarifying the disagreement in relation to the inherent social work of the Claretian University Center. This theme was originated from the initial observation that the vision of technology mediated education is quite complex, as well as the importance of the vision of man as an historical being: to reflect the policy of serving as a social action ad elaborate clear explanations to those interested in the subject of Distance Learning. The choice of the theme option for the Graduate Program of Social Service course is centered on the pillars of social transformation in the area of Education. Given this context the problem the guiding problem of the research was developed: Do the proposal of Distance Learning Education in Brazil and its application meet the professional practice, regarding the social emancipation? To answer this question, the work was structured in order to explain and characterize the research methodology based on Minayo Martinelli and Bardin, with data collection, analysis and interpretation. From the results obtained, it was observed that the expansion of the educational market, whether public or private, gradually eliminates bias related to distance learning, as students become familiar with new technologies and languages, also decreasing social distances
