Resumo

Considering the complexity of the current information environments, this paper aims to assess the hybrid and complex information ecology of the Brazilian House of Representatives regarding to its Information Findability. The information environment of the institution is described and assessed by applying a checklist that considers the features present in the Information Findability and in the Pervasive Information Architecture models. It's possible to observe that most of the features are present in the information environment, but they are not good enough, which makes us conclude that these features need better implementation and that there are opportunities for innovation to align the information ecology with the current information trends.
