The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality of bulk tank milk samples of 14 farms before and after training of milk transporters. The training consisted instruct truckers about the proper collect and packaging of milk. The milk samples were evaluated for tenors of fat, protein, lactose, somatic cells count (SCC) and bacterial count. The results were submitted to paired t tests of Students and Wilcoxon at 5% of significance. However, the fat tenors and SCC showed large variation coefficients. The mean bacterial count of the milk collected after was lower (p<0.05) than the mean count of the milk collected before training. It demonstrates that training of milk transporters was effective to avoid inadequate results as the bacterial count.
