(2015-01-01) Matsuda, Alice Atsuko; Ferreira, Eliane Aparecida Galvão Ribeiro [UNESP]; Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)
The work A casa da madrinha [The Godmother's House], by Lygia Bojunga (2002), published in 1978, incorporates libertarian ideals of the children's and youth production of that decade. Its plot breaks with the tradition of euphoric literary production around the 1940s and 1950s, intended to children and young people, talks about taboo subjects like abandonment of minors and child labor, bringing to the center an inhuman social reality in which children and youths are neither protected nor supported or respected, having their rights disregarded. This justify, thus, the objective of this text, which is to analyze how these ideals are configured in the discursive representation of said work, considering that it was published during a military dictatorship.

(Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp), 2015-09-25) Gonçalves, Natani Franco [UNESP]; Ferreira, Eliane Aparecida Galvão Ribeiro [UNESP]; Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)
This text aims to present a reflection on the dialogy the story-telling for children under the Extension Project "Telling stories and tying points." The objective of by telling, expanding the repertoire of children reading and unveil them intertextuality between texts of different authors. For that, we turn to aesthetic elements of the reception, as this breaks the text notions as an object, player while passive recipient, and author as subject totalitarian act of creation and even enjoyment (ISER, 1999 and 1996; JAUSS, 1994). By this bias, literature, as an aesthetic product, only materializes in the interaction author-work audience.

Formalidade, representação e linguagem: as academias brasílicas

(2011) Ferreira, Eliane Aparecida Galvão Ribeiro [UNESP]; Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)

(2014) Ferreira, Eliane Aparecida Galvão Ribeiro [UNESP]; Bulhões, Ricardo Magalhães; Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp); Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMT)
This text aims to address the critical essays of Osman Lins on the corpus of his works, reading and study, which consists of Portuguese textbooks adopted in schools for the teaching of the national language in the Secondary Course. More specifically, we intend to reflect on how Osman Lins analyzes the procedures adopted by the authors of these textbooks to introduce learners into Brazilian literature. Our object of study and analysis is restricted to six trials Lins published originally in 1965, the newspaper of Pernambuco University Press and later, in 1977, were collected in the form of the first chapter, titled "The Book didactic - First time: 1965 " (1977, p.13-40), the book From the Dream and Glory: Brazilian uncultural problems.

This text aims to analyze two chronicles: Drummond’s “Pelé, the Wizard”, and Campos’s “Mané Garrincha”. These texts, although they have been taken from various works, respectively, When the day is football (2006); and The Goal is needed: chronic sports (2008), both dealing with the same theme: Soccer. Therefore, we seek to raise reciprocal relationships between these two works, always in search of possible thematic-stylistic affinities present in the fiction of both authors. More specifically, we intend to present the two books, then analyze the two chronicles, considering that approach, too, by dazzle that manifest in relation to football and metalinguistic approach by giving the theme.

(2013) Valente, Thiago Alves; Ferreira, Eliane Aparecida Galvão Ribeiro [UNESP]; Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp); Universidade Estadual do Norte do Paraná (UENP)
This text aims to elucidate the textual processing strategies that give meaning to chronicle "The miracle of the leaves", of Clarice Lispector (1920-1977). Therefore, it starts from the basic postulate that the meaning is not in the fabric or verbal imagery, but the meanings constructed from the elements of language that are there to meet with the reader (BRONCKART, 2009, p. 257). Justified this reading strategy, since the chronic Lispector reveals multiple meanings endowed with a language and dialogue. The text processing is discussed in terms of an audience potentially youthful element that assigns characteristics relevant to the understanding of the functioning of this type of text in relation to younger readers. To achieve the goal, we start from the assumption that chronic, being a literary text endowed with aesthetic validity, not only conveys a content, but recreates it, adding to it new meanings.

(2014) Binato, Cláudia Penavel [UNESP]; Ferreira, Eliane Aparecida Galvão Ribeiro [UNESP]; Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)
This text’s objective is to present an analysis of Aída, adapted by Han Mi-Ho (2012) and illustrated by Lucia Sforza, from the classic eponymous opera by Giuseppe Verdi. This book is part of the collection Classical music on the scene, published by FTD, which aims to introduce stories of important librettos regarded as classics in the music field to young audiences. More specifically, we intend to verify in this text, with Bakhtinian principles, how the dialogue between Verdi’s work and HanMi-Ho’s is actualized. To achieve these objectives, we will present a reflection of what provides the pleasure in reading. In this text we built the hypothesis that Han-Mi-Ho’s strategy to rescue a classic opera and adapt it in the form of an illustrated narrative for the young reader provides the contact with an attractive and playful text that leads to critical reflection and expands his knowledge through the rescue of the cultural memory. The appropriation of a classic cultural production adapted to the narrative language and targeted to a young audience can act as an appraisal factor in the identity of the reader. Through it, he is able to raise his self-esteem, because he perceives that he is considered as a production receiver, while at the same time he is recognized as the heir of a traditional cultural heritage.

This paper wishes to reintroduce, in a brief manner, a subject which has been neglected in the recent past: the history of Classical Studies in colonial Brazil. As an introduction to this complex issue, it aims at a historical review of the ideal of humanitas in the Academias of the eighteenth century. The presence of this ideal in the Academias is seen as a result of the classical education of the Brazilian people, a process which begins with the arrival of Jesuit missionaries in 1549 and 1553. In our discussion, we shall use the ideas of Dante Tringali (1994), Fernando de Azevedo (1958), Antônio Cândido (1977), José Aderaldo Castello (1969), among others.

Caso de Poesia (Antônio Carlos de Brito, vulgo Cacaso)
(2014) Ferreira, Sandra Aparecida [UNESP]; Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)
This paper deals with characteristically anti-authoritarian aspects of Antônio Carlos de Brito’s work, alias Cacaso (1944-1987). It aims to provide evidence on his peculiar poetry writing exercise, which incorporates political and aesthetic tensions into its own language, rather than just refer to them. By anchoring in a poetics of everyday life and by being engaged in a dialogue with Brazilian literary tradition, Cacaso manages image, tone and emotion in order to instantly illuminate the impasses of his generation.

The symbology of the sea in Lygia Bojunga Nunes's work: a reflection on utopian and dystopian framing
(2014) Matsuda, Alice Atsuko; Ferreira, Eliane Aparecida Galvão Ribeiro [UNESP]; Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp); Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR)
The ambivalent image of the sea is recurrent in Bojunga Nunes’s work. It receives a lot of symbolic meanings in her production, being sometimes a positive and sometimes a negative element. Thus, the sea is used in a utopic way, as a place for pleasure and leisure, and in a dystopic way, as scenery of a rite of passage, which includes the pain and suffering, part of the rite of passage that characterizes the bildungsromans. So, if in some texts the sea assumes a utopic character, being a place of snuggle, security, the ideal to reach, in others it is represented as dystopic, a place of distress, asphyxia and death. In this text we will study the hypothesis that, even in its dark symbolic meaning, in the author’s work the sea is an element of reflection and revelation. Thereby, it assumes metaphorically a sense of magnification of the reader’s expectative, being an element of emancipation. The objective of this text is to present a reflection on the sea’s symbolism on the mentioned texts and its importance for the reader’s formation.
