dc.description.abstractEste trabalho teve como objetivo entender o perfil do engenheiro procurado pelo mercado de trabalho, bem como suas principais competências e habilidades para o melhor desempenho deste profissional nas diversas posições em que o engenheiro pode ocupar, apurando qual a expectativa e perspectiva que a sociedade contemporânea tem deste profissional e, espera-se que os resultados contribuam para traçar um perfil do Engenheiro frente aos novos e dinâmicos desafios que se apresentam no mercado financeiro. O perfil do engenheiro, neste trabalho, foi obtido através de revisão bibliográfica e de uma pesquisa realizada no último trimestre de 2019 pelo autor, na empresa Itaú - Unibanco, onde 73 respondentes foram estratificados com o intuito de analisar uma possível diferenciação na visão causada por tempo de mercado e cargo atual. Os resultados apontaram para o surgimento de engenheiros mais versáteis, com capacidade de tomar decisões rápidas e assertivas, além de possuírem conhecimentos de matemática evoluída. Esses atributos formariam uma base sólida para atuação na área financeira.pt
dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to understand the profile of the engineer sought after by the job market, as well as his main skills and abilities for the best performance of this professional in the various positions that the engineer can occupy, ascertaining the expectation and perspective that contemporary society has. of this professional and, it is expected that the results will contribute to outline a profile of the Engineer in face of the new and dynamic challenges that present themselves in the financial market. The profile of the engineer, in this work, was obtained through a bibliographic review and a survey carried out in the last quarter of 2019 by the author, at the company Itaú - Unibanco, where 73 respondents were stratified in order to analyze a possible differentiation in the vision caused by time to market and current position. The results pointed to the emergence of more versatile engineers, with the ability to make quick and assertive decisions, in addition to having advanced mathematics knowledge. These attributes would form a solid basis for operations in the financial area.en
