dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we present numerical investigations of a pendulum system to harvest energy from the ambient. The mathematical model of the pendulum is obtained considering a harmonic displacement of its base. For power generation, two pneumatic pistons are introduced to generate compressed air. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the largest amount of energy harvesting happens in these chaotic regimes. | en |
