Cada vez mais as pessoas passam a se aventurar percorrendo longas distâncias em busca de novas experiências, seja para conhecer novos locais ou para a participação em eventos. Dessa forma, eventos como shows musicais, conferências, feiras comerciais, competições esportivas, exposições, entre outros, atraem um grande número de visitantes de outras cidades e até mesmo países. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral analisar a influência de eventos culturais no turismo da cidade de Curitiba-PR, tendo como estudo de caso o show do cantor Harry Styles, os objetivos específicos propostos foram, compreender se o público deste show consumiriam a oferta turística local ou apenas se deslocam com a finalidade de assistir ao show; identificar o público do evento; identificar quais pontos turísticos são potenciais durante este evento e investigar as ações da gestão turística municipal em relação aos eventos. Para atingir os objetivos definidos, foi utilizada uma metodologia qualiquantitativa com análise de conteúdo bibliográfico para construção do referencial teórico, na discussão Bibliográfica, discute-se os temas sobre a gestão pública municipal, importância e potencialidades dos eventos, seguido pela contextualização da cidade de Curitiba-PR, do evento e do cantor Harry Styles. Através do questionário aplicado e elaboração de gráficos a partir das respostas do questionário, foi possível estabelecer a análise e discussão dos resultados de parte dos objetivos específicos propostos, identificando a tipologia do evento, público e atrativos potenciais. Por fim, por meio do estudo realizado e questionário aplicado foi possível assegurar a influência que os eventos possuem como indutor do turismo local e estabeleceu-se a importância de futuras pesquisas em relação ao tema abordado.

More and more people are starting to venture out, traveling long distances in search of new experiences, whether to discover new places or to participate in events. In this way, events such as musical shows, conferences, trade fairs, sports competitions, exhibitions, among others, attract a large number of visitors from other cities and even countries. This research had the general objective of analyzing the influence of cultural events on tourism in the city of Curitiba-PR, using the singer Harry Styles' show as a case study. The specific objectives proposed were to understand whether the public of this show would consume the local tourist offer. or they just travel for the purpose of watching the show; identify the event’s audience; identify which tourist attractions are potential during this event and investigate the actions of municipal tourism management in relation to the events. To achieve the defined objectives, a qualitative and quantitative methodology was used with bibliographic content analysis to construct the theoretical framework. In the Bibliographic discussion, themes about municipal public management, importance and potential of events are discussed, followed by the contextualization of the city of Curitiba -PR, of the event and singer Harry Styles. Through the applied questionnaire and creation of graphs based on the questionnaire responses, it was possible to establish the analysis and discussion of the results of part of the proposed specific objectives, identifying the type of event, audience and potential attractions. Finally, through the study carried out and the questionnaire applied, it was possible to ensure the influence that events have as a driver of local tourism and the importance of future research in relation to the topic addressed was established.
