dc.description.abstractThis paper proposes the consideration of the system nonlinearities in an approach to the Power System Stabilizer problem. An order reduction is proposed and a Lyapunov Function is derived for the reduced system. Conditions for stability are obtained from the Lyapunov Function . Also, direct stability analysis is allowed for the power system with supplementary stabilization.en
