Objective: To understand the self-nominations and self-classifications practiced in sexual affective interaction apps guided by the race marker in Brazil. Methods: qualitative study of a documental nature, based on bibliographic research, in the form of cartography of documents, with samples collected in digital media Scruff and Grindr (mobile applications for social interaction used by men who seek to relate affectively-sexually with others men) using the Text Mining technique through the Voyant Tools software, allowing the visualization of correlations, co-occurrences, flows and dispersion of textual themes, in addition to the content analysis technique to identify the main subjects covered in the corpus. Results: Due to the abject nature with which the black body was historically constructed, having its existence conditioned, the labor practices and the exploitation of its workforce, be it in the mill, in the farming or as a reproducer where the hypermasculinization of bodies made the subjects victims of their phallocentric representations, desire is closely related to the objectification of bodies, engendering a complex fabric of silencing and social exclusion. Conclusions: In their self-classification and self-nominations, certain subjects use terms that cause slips of meaning, moving them away from a possible homosexual identity and reinforcing their masculinity, in order to reinforce stereotypes and prejudices, strengthening a hierarchy on the margins socioculturally constructed throughout history.
