Engolindo pílulas vermelhas: Influenciadores e discursos da Redpill brasileira

Abstract

Esta monografia tem como objetivo analisar sociologicamente a Redpill brasileira e seus influenciadores, buscando compreender a relação entre os discursos produzidos e os dados de posição e trajetória sociais na rede de misoginia online. A Redpill pode ser compreendida como um conjunto de interpretações acerca das relações sociais, sobretudo de gênero, baseadas em grupos de misoginia e em perspectivas masculinistas que possuem conexões com uma rede de atores sociais e grupos que expressam temáticas do neoconservadorismo e do neoliberalismo no debate público, sobretudo nas redes sociais. Assim, ela investiga as representações sobre relacionamentos e relações de gênero que influenciadores e interlocutores da “filosofia” Redpill reproduzem na mídia brasileira, e suas relações com a ascensão da extrema direita no país. A partir de Bourdieu, a pesquisa busca compreender a Redpill como uma forma de se portar socialmente, envolvendo gostos, corporeidades e discursos. Para isso, será analisado um dos principais veículos de disseminação da “filosofia” Redpill brasileira: o podcast RedCast.

This monograph aims to sociologically analyze the Brazilian Redpill and its influencers, seeking to understand the relationship between the discourses produced and the data on social position and trajectory in the online misogyny network. The Redpill can be understood as a set of interpretations about social relations, especially gender relations, based on misogynistic groups and masculinist perspectives that have connections with a network of social actors and groups that express themes of neoconservatism and neoliberalism in public debate, especially on social networks. Thus, it investigates the representations of relationships and gender relations that influencers and interlocutors of the Redpill “philosophy” reproduce in the Brazilian media, and their relations with the rise of the far right in the country. Based on Bourdieu, the research seeks to understand the Redpill as a way of behaving socially, involving tastes, corporealities and discourses. To this end, one of the main vehicles for disseminating the Brazilian Redpill “philosophy” will be analyzed: the RedCast podcast.
