In the current period of Capital overaccumulation, financial capital constantly seeks innovative ways of accumulation, especially via new assets and territories incorporation in their investment portfolio. As a consequence, beyond the traditional applications in financial instruments, as stocks, debentures and securities exchange, it is becoming more common the capital overaccumulated investments in the so-called real assets - Infrastructure, urban property and agricultural lands. This last type of investment caused the actual phenomenon of Land Grabbing popularization. Although its diverse origin, destination and impact, Land Grabbing can be defined by the intensive use of capital for land control as a form of accumulation and response to the current financial, food, energetic and ecologic crises of the neoliberal globalization project. Therefore, this research wants to analyze the Bookfield Brasil actuation forms, corporation controlled by the Canadian financial company Brookdfield Asset Management Inc. According to their annual report of 2014, Brookfield Asset Management is one of the biggest financial companies of the world, with asset management focus, especially real estate assets, Infrastructure, energy and private equity. In that year, the corporation declared to have around US$ 200 billion in assets - 150 billion in the USA and Canada, 20 billion in South America, 15 billion in Asia and Australia and US$ 11 billion in Europe and Middle East. Therefore, this research objective is to analyze the Brookfield territorial use strategies, in the perspective of forests monoculture control. No atual período de sobreacumulação de capital, o capital financeiro busca constantemente novas formas de acumulação, sobretudo, por intermédio da incorporação de novos ativos e territórios ao seu portfólio de investimentos. Como consequência, além das tradicionais aplicações em instrumentos financeiros, como ações, debêntures, obrigações e títulos cambiais, é cada vez mais comum os investimentos do capital sobreacumulado nos chamados ativos reais, isto é, infraestruturas, imobiliário urbano e terras agrícolas. Este último tipo de investimento levou à popularização do atual fenômeno de Land Grabbing. Apesar de variado em origem, destino e impacto e ainda inconclusivo, este último pode ser definido pelo uso intensivo de capital para o controle de terras e recursos como forma de acumulação e resposta à conjugação das atuais crises financeira, energética, alimentar e ecológica do projeto de globalização neoliberal. Partindo desse pressuposto, a presente pesquisa pretende analisar as formas de atuação da empresa Brookfield Brasil, controlada pela empresa financeira canadense Brookfield Asset Management Inc. Segundo o seu próprio Relatório Anual de 2014, a Brookfield Asset Management é uma das maiores empresas financeiras do mundo, com foco na gestão de ativos reais, especialmente, imobiliários, infraestrutura, energia e private equity. Naquele ano, a empresa afirmava ter sob gestão cerca de US$ 200 bilhões em ativos, sendo 150 bilhões nos EUA e Canadá, 20 bilhões na América do Sul, 15 bilhões na Ásia e Austrália e US$ 11 bilhões na Europa e Oriente Médio.
